Carolyn Mikulencak lives in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her writing has appeared in the Oxford American, Yemassee, Psychological Perspectives, and Southwest Review, where her story “Lonestar Overnight” won the 2018 David Nathan Meyerson fiction prize. She is currently working on a novel about watching three sisters in the house across the street.
