Animal Unfit, by Megan Nichols (Belle Point Chaps #4)
The wildness of the Arkansas Ozarks comes vividly to life in Animal Unfit. Through Megan Nichols’s eyes, motherhood becomes a song tinged with grief. At the same time, a sense of home emerges through kind neighbors, natural landscapes, and the hope that remains hidden in family—even if our loved ones leave us behind.
Sample Poems: "My child is young and our loved ones are alive" and "Incipient Decline"
